Scope of Works: A full refurb of 750 windows, the replacement of all guttering, soffits and mastic.

K Maintenance Ltd worked as the main contractor to provide works to five buildings within a Cambridge business park. The project included a full refurb of 750 windows, the replacement of all guttering, soffits and mastic. Our in-house Operations team handled the full life cycle of the project, from works’ schedules, scaffolding supply, recycling and waste management- to the making-good to the surrounding spaces at completion.

Guarantees: K Maintenance Limited worked alongside our suppliers to provide a 10-year guarantee on the workmanship and finish to the buildings.  To achieve this, the manufacturer visited site to carry out scratch tests and check the paint adhesion throughout the project. The KML on-site Project Manager carried out daily reporting on conditions and DFT readings to ensure that paint was always applied to spec and in the correct conditions.

Full Operations & Maintenance manuals were issued at project end to provide a comprehensive record and maintenance procedure to future proof the works.
